WHAT WE DO AND TEACH IN THE CHURCH
We stress to live daily a crucified life both in the church and outside.
ONLY A CRUSIFIED LIFE CAN PREACH THE CRUSIFIED CHRIST!!! So our focus
shall be continually becoming like Jesus Christ. This will we do through
the following means:
Sharing the Word of Life ceaselessly. God uses His word as means to
sanctify, to purify and to change men. His word has never failed! So
we will devote ourselves to a regularly and non-interval bible study.
Our bible study is an interdenominational one, where brethren from several
denominations and fellowship will come together and learn together from
the mouth of the Lord Himself. We are careful never to be religious
or gather head-knowledge, but to see the very purpose of God bare fruits
in our hearts. II Corinthians 3:18, II Timothy 2:15, Acts 6:2, 7, James
1:21-25
Prayer. Our prayer shall be sharp and purposeful. It will be accomplished
by worship and praises with hymns and spiritual songs. As the Lord will
be leading us, we like to be engaged in prayers of thanksgiving, intercession,
of divers tongues of the Holy Spirit and to snatch the oppressed off
the snares and shackles of the wicked one. This will be a regular activity,
as the Lord will be rising with us, matters and burden to pray about
and never to make light of it at any point in time. Psalm 34:1-3, John
14:12, Romans 12:1, I Corinthians 14:14-15, Philippians 3:6, Colossians
3:16, I Timothy 2:1-2, James 5:15
Family Life and Marriage. God instituted marriage. So we have made it
a point of duty to gaze steadily at the manual of the author Himself.
If our marriage should become what God intended it to be, then it is
important for us to give it a priority by following the biblical pattern.
Therefore, a marital relationship should be pure, and free from sexual
immorality. The husband should love the wife unconditionally as Christ
love the church despite her shortcomings. Wives also to submit to their
husbands as unto the Lord. Father should discipline his children without
being harsh or abusive, so that the child may not be embittered but
respect authority. The family together must never be taken over by covetousness
and greed, but be content with having their needs met. Ephesians 5:24-27,
Ephesians 6:4, Colossians 3:21, II Timothy 6:10, Titus 2:12, Hebrews
12:8-10
